From Five Ways station, walk to the Birmingham New Main Line Canal, follow the towpath to the junction and turn onto the Birmingham Old Main Line Canal: 6.3 miles of towpath in all, to The Hawthorns. Getting to and from the towpath adds 0.9 miles away (about 1 mile on foot) in all.
