Upper Park
Upper Park is a Marilyn, 352m high, and also counts as a HuMP. The Marilyns are hills anywhere in Britain and Ireland with at least 150 metres of prominence, whatever their height.
Welshpool is the nearest station, 2.8 mi (about 3.5 to 4 mi on foot), so the summit is within walking distance of the train. From Welshpool it's about 1.5 to 2 hours to the summit, 1 in 16 on average. Newtown (Powys), 10.0 mi (about 13 to 14.5 mi on foot), is the only other station within 10 miles. Y Golfa is the only other listed hill within 2 miles. The Glyndŵr's Way National Trail passes 1.1 mi away.
